In this presentation Amber Henry, one of our Project Managers and Matt Commons, our UX/UI designer will review a number of strategies and techniques to rapidly deliver on time sensitive projects.
The National Office for Child Safety (NOCS) was established in response to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse and its website is part of the Attorney General’s Department sites which Morpht manages. NOCS leads the development and implementation of national priorities to protect children and young people from child sexual abuse and support victims and survivors.
In August 2023 NOCS was planning a national campaign to promote having conversations with children about child sexual abuse. The campaign was wide reaching, being delivered across several channels including web, television, radio, cinema and social media.
NOCS engaged Morpht to transform the pre-existing Child Safety website from being predominantly information-based to being more campaign-focused. This required an uplift in the site’s visual design, user experience, information architecture and the usability of the site search. New features were added to improve the Resource Library and create a new Support Service directory.
Despite a tight immovable deadline due to a campaign launch, Morpht's adaptable site-building tools and expertise shone through. We delivered the new design and functionality on time, not only meeting but exceeding every project goal, making this project a resounding success.
- In the three weeks following the launch of the campaign, the website recorded over 120,000 views - an increase of 745%.
- NOCS now can create different page layouts, using their branding assets in background modifiers and promoting content using the components.
- The improvements to the site search, resources library and services directory have also improved how users find the information they are looking for that is relevant to their needs.
In this presentation, we will review a number of strategies and techniques to rapidly deliver on time sensitive projects.
