We gained insights on the future of Drupal from Dries Buytaert and Tim Doyle, Drupal Association CEO. We look forward to DrupalCon Asia kicking off later this year in Singapore! Having them both attend DrupalSouth really highlighted what an amazing and talented Drupal community Australia and New Zealand have.
The ANZ Splash Awards ceremony was also held during the conference and Morpht was thrilled to walk away with the Best in Show award for the National Office for Child Safety site! Morpht was delighted to have a nomination for the Independent Parliamentary Expenses Authority site in the Government - Federal category which was a huge achievement.
Morpht had four presentations throughout the conference by Murray Woodman, Jim Koutsouris, Kelvin Wong, Matt Commons and Amber Henry. Also a big shout out to Andre Kakos and Christian Biggins for volunteering their time being track leads this year!
A big thank you to the DrupalSouth committee, Splash Award organisers, judges and to the community for such a wonderful conference and we can't wait to see you all again in Melbourne 2025!
