AI Joe will be the first non-human candidate to run in a local election in Japan. The election will take place in two months, and how voters will respond to this unprecedented candidacy remains to be seen.
He claims his lack of biases and emotions will make him a fair and objective choice for the job. He also states that due to current rules, his human secretary will assist in voting and deliberations. The expectation is that he receives well below a single percent of the vote.
