The DrupalSouth Steering Committee is responsible for organising the annual DrupalSouth conference and for fostering a healthy community through knowledge transfer and inclusivity. You can find out more about the committee on the call for candidates page.
This year there is a very capable field of nominees, so the future of DrupalSouth would appear to be in good hands. At Morpht we would like to recommend Julia Topliss for your consideration. Julia is the Account Manager at Morpht and has a wealth of experience with Drupal, running her own company and working with other not for profit organisations.
Why would you vote for Julia? In her own words:
I have a ton of experience working in volunteer organisations, having been involved with Rotary International for over 15 years. I love working and learning new things with a team. I understand the challenges of volunteer work - including juggling work/life/other things. I have run projects which have involved fundraising and working with diverse groups of people. I have sat on Boards and Committees in leadership roles for several years; and have skills in coordination of groups of people from 3 through to 100.
I am a creative thinker with lots of ideas; but also love to see other people's vision succeed. I believe the best type of mentor is one who brings out the best leadership qualities and potential in others.
Voting in the upcoming election will help ensure DrupalSouth prosper and continues to deliver the great conferences we are used to in Australia and New Zealand.

This year our Account Manager, Julia Topliss was elected to the committee and will be joining the committee in May 2023.
